Genio Lab at XVII Istituto B. Zaccagnini conference

The optical cash & carry was present yesterday and today at an important optics and optometry meeting in Bologna Genio Lab – the ophthalmic laboratory set up in Verona in 2007 and transformed into the first real optical cash & carry in Northern Italy in 2013 – took part in the seventeenth edition of the interdisciplinary conference promoted by the Istituto B. Zaccagnini. It was held at the Hotel Savoia Regency, Bologna, on Sunday, February 9 and on Monday, February 10.   With over 550 eye care professionals registered for this edition, the interdisciplinary conference was an important meeting of optics, optometry and all the other disciplines that treat vision problems in different areas and with different methods. The theme of this edition - "Age, work, diet and vision: prevention and the preservation of vision efficiency" – was highly topical and socially valuable.   This was why Genio Lab - which is always attentive to changes in the market and, consequently, to the needs of eye care professionals - decided to take part in this comprehensive meeting. Not only: participation in the conference strengthened Genio Lab's growing commitment in Emilia Romagna, where in recent years the company has considerably increased its presence through the affiliation of numerous optical centers.
