Galileo: not one but two new catalogs!

Galileo: not one but two new catalogs!

A new 2014 ophthalmic lens catalog for its customers Since May 19, Oftalmica Galileo Italia has provided its optometry customers with a new ophthalmic lens catalog for 2014.   Each new edition includes "the event of the year" and the recent catalog - published for Galileo's 150th anniversary and the 450th birthday of Galileo Galilei, the scientist who inspired the name of the brand - could not do anything other than celebrate such an important date.   Some of the pages take the reader on a pleasant historical journey through the development of this prestigious Italian brand that has been loyal to its territory for so many years. In addition to the lively tone of its story, eye care professionals will also find that added value and quality are the guidelines on which the catalog is based and refer to a large number of products on the market. Also included is a range of professional services designed to meet the needs of today's customers and general public.   The catalog is divided into 4 different segments that range from Specifications, with suggested prices and construction characteristics, to Technical Information that includes sales support services and details about coloring and treatments, to the area of Special Lenses that are not part of a range, to the Price section exclusively for the owners of optical centers.   As usual, new products have been added and some existing series have been expanded. Specifically: Intuitiv lenses optimized for left- and right-handed people; Neva+ UV and NevaMax Solaire UV treatments; Diam's Clear UV series combined with the Easy Work range that now has Mid for near-intermediate vision; high indexes for Galileo Transitions XTRActive photochromic; the material Trivex 1.53 for a variety of progressive lens designs; Specio lenses and CPF and Luceo medical lenses.   A breath of fresh air and new developments also for color samples. All these elements are part of an offer characterized by huge variety, quality and innovative ability. The new developments don't end there: the traditional catalog has been joined by Eppy, Galileo's abridged catalog-cum-guide for rapid consultation.   Streamlined and functional, Eppy focuses on the types of Galileo lenses that are the most requested in their category. There is also important information about benefits, range and prices.   The aim of having a complete catalog in addition to a sector catalog is to leave space for the different timescales and organizational needs of all users and thereby facilitate the day-to-day business of every outlet.
