Eight new RYE&LYE models at Mido 2014
A refined, sought-after collection in fine materials and with ultra-high craftsmanship At Mido14, Immagine98 introduced eight new models for the collection by RYE&LYE, the high-end brand by the company based in Calalzo di Cadore. A very refined and sought-after collection in fine materials and with ultra-high craftsmanship. Understated luxury for the unpretentious. Or, rather, for anyone who wants to stand out for style, for the meticulous choice of details and accessories that are never brash or excessive. RYE&LYE continues along its path of research and experimentation via the choice of materials and leading-edge techniques. All the new models are optical and continue the leitmotif of the collection: future retro eyewear. In fact, the collection combines charm and a slightly retro flavor with the most advanced technologies. Wood, leather and 'regenerated' stone are the protagonists of this collection which has been joined by a limited edition of only 600 pairs: for women, the two large and refined models are embellished with a special Swarovski crystal mesh that gives the eyes an extra touch of special light. For luxury without excess. Steel and solid wood – used for the front or brow – characterize the new unisex models Leonardo and Tiziano. They are enriched with an avant-garde and very attractive flex hinge. Wood also for Mantegna, a model distinguished by the use of fine exotic wood for the temples, the curve of which has been designed specifically to enhance the natural veining of the different woods. A decidedly masculine shape for two models with a very sophisticated 'stones' effect: Caravaggio and Michelangelo. In milled plastic, their decisive look is given by stone-effect applique inserts. Lastly, perforated steel on the front and leather inserts on the temples for Giotto, a model dedicated to women. All the above eyewear comes in 3 different colors. Completing the collection are Raffaello and Botticelli, two models in a limited series. Extremely feminine and with a slightly butterfly shape, the eyewear is enriched with a special Swarovski crystal mesh on the brow and temples – a hugely elegant technique for lighting up the eyes.
