Lightness, strength and high technology are the three characteristics of the new product from Salice Occhiali Salice Occhiali has presented an absolutely innovative product that encompasses high technology for all enthusiasts not just of cycling and mountain bikes but of sports in general. In the new CSpeed (Carbon Speed) eyewear, the Italian brand's quality of manufacturing and design blends with high-technology carbon fiber. Destined to become a must-have for enthusiasts of various disciplines, and not just of bicycle enthusiasts, the new model from Salice primarily features lightness and maximum comfort guaranteed by clean, minimalist lines that perfectly embrace the athlete's face. Made completely from carbon fiber, the interlocking temples with the Salice Occhiali chromed logo have no metal components, which makes the eyewear really "featherweight". The front in Grilamid® guarantees strong shock resistance, whereas the non-slip nosepiece and temple end pieces are made in Megol, a special elastomer that is a perfect combination of softness and rigidity. Classified as "base 7", CSpeed guarantees optimal visibility thanks to the scratch-resistant UV 400 nm polycarbonate lenses that reduce reflections and increase filtering properties. Last but not least, the special IDRO treatment makes water and dust slide off the surface of the eyewear. Holes in the front guarantee ventilation between the lens and the perspiring face of the athlete, thereby drastically reducing the possibility of fogging. The new CSpeed will be available in a single, elegant model in matte black, with a choice of RW mirrored lenses (blue, red or black), RWP mirrored polarized lenses (blue, red or black) and CRX photochromic lenses (smoke gray or bronze). The packaging contains an extra ventilated lens recommended when visibility is poor. For the CSpeed RWP model, the extra lens will be the new Radium with an orange base and blue multilayers. For CSpeed RW and CSpeed CRX models, the extra lens will be orange.
