“Blackfin with Arrigo Cipriani” presented at Mido

Five titanium models in new colors created exclusively for Cipriani The link between Blackfin - the brand of 100% made in Italy titanium eyewear - and Arrigo Cipriani - the famous owner of Harry's Bar in Venice and international guru of Italian culinary art - is practically a mathematical equation. The lowest common denominators are a constant search for quality and unique made in Italy craftsmanship. The result – the same in both cases - is a product par excellence.   This was the basis for the creation of the exclusive collection in titanium, "Blackfin with Arrigo Cipriani", limited edition frames dedicated to the simple and luxurious world of the man who invented the Bellini cocktail. Presented at Mido 2014, the collection consists of five models – one vision and four sun – in which Blackfin style and the quality of titanium are tinged with new colors created exclusively for Cipriani.   First and foremost, model BF671 ARRIGO, a vision frame with a design that to all appearances is classic, timeless, but which embraces all of Blackfin's modern personality. The colors - brown on the outside and exclusive CIPRIANI green on the inside – express "Maison Cipriani"'s concept of subtle luxury. The result of this magical all-Italian union will be available for sale but a graduated version of the eyewear will also be offered to help clients at Cipriani's restaurants read the menu.   Two sun models for men: BF575 IBIZA, with edgy sculpted profiles, and BF678 NEW YORK, with a softer front, both feature an original color combination: black outside, CIPRIANI green inside. The classic cat-eye shape is given a modern interpretation in model BF679 SOPHIE for women; its refined shape is elegantly emphasized in the bicolor brown/Cipriani green version. But the perfect union of these two big names and champions of real Made in Italy is celebrated in model BF680 JULIE. Designed by Corrado Rosson, head of the Blackfin Style Center, these sunglasses for women are total luxury according to Blackfin and Cipriani. Only one hundred numbered pairs from #00 to #99 have been made. With its large, soft and blatantly fashionable shape, the entirely gold-plated frame is matte black on the outside to emphasize the gold edging. The Blackfin logo on the front is also gold plated and inserted with an inlay technique. The high quality lenses have the Carl Zeiss Vision mark and certification.   All the models in this exclusive series are customized on the inside of the right temple with Arrigo Cipriani's signature. Every model comes with the sheet of titanium from which it was made and completed with the certified signature of Arrigo Cipriani.
