Uvex and Geier Diffusion at ISPO and Winter Olympics in Vancouver

It will be a sizzling and very intense February for Uvex, the famous German company, and for its mentor in Italy, Geier Diffusion of Ortisei – Val Gardena.

At ISPO (the world’s most important showcase for winter sports equipment) in Munich February 7 through 10, 2010, they will present the new and exceptional collection of helmets, goggles, eyeglasses and accessories. And February 12 through 28, all the athletes in the Uvex International Team will take part in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.

All the athletes in the Uvex Team take an active part in product development and they are involved in every part of the production projects, whereas Uvex and, above all, Werner Geier in Italy (the sole importer of Uvex wintersports) have contributed to the development of a program for encouraging young skiers. In the front line we find such international ski champions as the United States’ Lindsey Vonn, winner of the World Cup 2008/09 and current leader of the World Cup 2010, Italy’s Giuliano “Razzo” Razzoli, Patrick Staudacher, Federica Brignone, Nicole Gius and the multi-championship winner for sledding, the legendary Armin Zoeggeler, who has just won the 9th World Cup.
