The flying optician achieved his first podium at Moto2

Roberto Rolfo, 30, an optician from Turin and member of a family of opticians who owns the “OtticaSelva” chain, yesterday stood on the top step of the podium in the Moto2 category after winning the GP on the Sepang circuit in Malaysia.

Rolfo talked about his first Moto2 victory: “I’ve been waiting for this day for some time and I knew that it was something I was capable of with my team. We missed out at Brno only because of a technical problem. I’m pleased that our tenacity and work have been rewarded. I was eager to taste victory and already Friday I felt that the bike had all the potential to take us to the podium. Besides, I couldn’t ask for anything better than to step on the gas!”, the rider concluded.
