The first Laura Biagiotti by Sover collection in Paris
The Silmo Exhibition in Paris, France, provided the setting for the new Laura Biagiotti collection following the agreement signed with Sover last spring for the design, production and worldwide distribution of women’s sunglasses and vision frames with the “Laura Biagiotti Eyewear” label.
Laura Biagiotti was one of the first stylists to launch an eyewear collection as long ago as the early Eighties. It was exceptionally successful, especially the “one piece” model that is still sought after as a vintage item to be collected. The lines have developed over the years and now it is the turn of the collection created by Sover.
The eyewear collection presented by Sover at Silmo consists of 25 models and 34 new models will be added every year. They are dedicated to the Laura Biagiotti woman who loves a feminine, contemporary style. Therefore, the entire collection features the lines, details and colors that are the outcome of an in-depth study to give both sunglasses and vision frames refined allure.
SUN COLLECTION
The entire collection is characterized by colored enamels and contrasting Swarovski rhinestones, original laser decorations, different versions of the LB logo, fashionable and comfortable shapes. A particular taste for detail is inspired by the accessories that appeared in the Roman stylist’s fashion shows.
THE KNOT
LBK001: A stylized knot on the temple is a special feature of this metal model in a shape that enhances the female face. The gleaming decoration is in shades of brown with crystals lighting the temples.
LBK003: Trendy and original thanks to the knot detail, the colors of this model are solid and gleaming. They range from black to ivory with the classic LB logo.
MINIMALISM
LBK007-LBK008: Linear, fresh models with a clean design and details. The LB logo is shown with rhinestones in the same color as the temples. Decidedly special colors in perfect Sover style: the black, red and brown of model LBK007 are enriched with horn-effect stripes. Brown and burgundy with a gold, silver or black mesh characterize model LBK008, with the inside finished in a refined horn effect in silver.
FUTURISM
LBK004: Inspired by the elements of Futurism interpreted in lively, bright colors on an enameled metal tag that balance perfectly and always match the primary colors of the eyewear, which range from black to shaded brown to striped plum. The logo is engraved on the temple.
LOGO GAMES
LBK005- LBK006: A splendid interpretation of the LB monogram for a highly impactful tag with separated letters. The vivacious front pieces are either rounded and wraparound or jaunty and rectangular.
WOOD AND LEATHER
LBK009-LBK010: Sophisticated models with temples decorated with an engraved double logo filled with glittering leather or delightful combinations of oak, teak and walnut.
LUMINOUS GEOMETRIES
LBK011: A very precious and three-dimensional proposal with enamels and different sizes of Swarovski crystals. The LB logo is in the center of a series of orderly and gleaming “intersecting” lines.
THE GREAT CLASSICS
LBK002: The sparkle of rhinestones and metal pins characterize this plastic model in a simple shape and character-enhancing temples with bright, circular inserts of Swarovski rhinestones and pins. Also perfect for graduated lenses.
SIGNATURE
LBK012: A model with a rounded profile featuring temples decorated with the LB logo in italics, enameled and illuminated by refined points of light.
VISION COLLECTION: CLOSE-UP ON COMFORT
The first 13 models presented in Paris favor comfort and lightness. Shapes with a classical taste revisited with delicate colors made brighter in a play of contrasts like pink/lilac, plum/tobacco, and brown/orange.
ENAMELS AND GLITTER
LBM001-LBM002: Feminine models par excellence thanks to the lines, colors and decoration enhanced by pearl enamels. Flex temples and the logo repeated to create a pleasant shape brightened by mother-of-pearl and glittering enamels.
PRECIOUS STONES
LBM007: A new decoration makes this model unique. Temples with a new “stone” effect set into a precious metal frame with laser and milled work.
THE MUST
LBM009-LBM010-LBM011: The perfect sun models. Swarovski rhinestones and pins on the temples make this an attractive new element in the Laura Biagiotti collection.
DESIGNER KNOTS
LBM008: Another version of the sun model totally inspired by the accessories that appeared in the Roman stylist’s fashion shows. Lightweight, hyper-feminine with laser work or Swarovski rhinestones on the decoration.
ROMANTIC LOGO
LBM003- LBM004-LBM005-LBM006: The LB logo in italics inspired two families of models. The first series is in slender, elegant metal with glitter and a rhinestone effect. The second family has two metal rims with the LB logo forming an integral part of the tag decorating the eyewear.
JACQUARD LOGO
LBM012-LBM013: The castle logo has been separated by laser to decorate the temples. The star of this model is the LB monogram.
