Technological settings for the launch of Gradal Individual EyeFit
For the worldwide launch of its new progressive lenses, Gradal Individual EyeFit, Zeiss held three important presentation events in Milan, Rome and Reggio Emilia. The stages were three industrial/historic buildings turned into spaces for events with sounds, lighting effects and visuals that set guests in an elegant and highly technological scenario for the presentation of the Zeiss products.
The different settings were created inside large gray cubes where sophisticated, latest-generation touch screens allowed guests to be actively involved in exciting locations. They included Microscopia (a sea of moving red globules in amusing shapes that come together and separate when touched), Telescopia with Google Earth (an enormous, rotating globe that zooms in and out when touched), Cinematografia and Fotografia (a selection of the most famous movies shot with cameras featuring Zeiss lenses), and Zeiss Experience (a complete optical center that focuses attention on consumers and their eyesight for choosing the best ophthalmic solution).
The scene was completed with the presentation of the new product. The new Gradal Individual lens with EyeFit technology is the premium proposal in the Zeiss range. Its exceptional level of personalization, especially in the near-vision area, and the integration of individual value in the center of the eye rotation, give wearer greater satisfaction because they meet to presbyopes’ main need: seeing near objects extraordinarily well. During the lens production stage, new mathematical methods are also taken into consideration in order to optimize thickness and thus obtain lenses that are visibly finer and lighter with extraordinary aesthetics and unparalleled comfort.
