Start of Japan Fashion Week

The curtain went up on Japan Fashion Week on Monday: Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi will host the tenth edition of Japan fashion week which continues through Sunday. A platform for a new generation of Japanese talents who will present their creations for fall/winter 2010/2011.

The Japan Fashion Week will include two events: Tokyo Collection Week, fashion shows scheduled from tomorrow through Friday 26 by about 45 fashion houses, and the JFW Designers’ Exhibition, on stage March 23 through 25 with seven brands, in addition to numerous collateral events.

Over 40 thousand international operators are expected to attend, mainly from Southeast Asia, the USA and Europe.
