Virtual Mirror, the innovative program developed by Silhouette, has been used for over a year on www.silhouette.com and is now available also on iPhones.
Thanks to this unique application, it is now possible to try out the sun and vision models by the brand that is the leader of the glasant eyewear segment, in a simple and fun way. The result: a photo of yourself wearing the chosen Silhouette model can be sent immediately and from any place to friends and acquaintances.
Silhouette is the first eyewear brand in the world to offer an iPhone application for an entertaining way of choosing and creating made-to-measure eyewear. From the comfort of your own home, you can see the infinite range of Silhouette collections, choose the model you prefer and personalize the shape and color depending on your facial characteristics and style. Once the virtual model has been identified, potential consumers can go to an optician to try on the real eyewear.
To use the Silhouette Virtual Mirror application for iPhones, just take a photo of yourself with the iPhone or select an image from the album. Simple instructions guide users through the application, which allows them to simply and quickly try on all the virtual Silhouette models from an almost infinite range of shape and color combinations. The “recipe”: shake the iPhone and the next model appears immediately. When the perfect model has been identified, the image can be sent by e-mail.
Finding Silhouette Virtual Mirror in the iPhone version is easy. The fastest way is to download the free application from www.silhouette.com/iphoneapp.
If the user has the Apple iTunes program installed, the application can be downloaded for iPhones and also for iPod Touch, simply by keying “Virtual Mirror”.
