Pramaor responds to the crisis by changing its business model
“The global and local crisis continue to represent not only a demanding financial and social moment, but also a major opportunity for rebirth and development. The strong stimulus of such a difficult and radically new and continually changing situation was what prompted me to make an integral change to our corporate strategy. There was a requirement to face up to the reality by a new point of view and adopt the completely innovative strategies and production methods that I have called Neomadeinitaly™.”
A position clearly and concisely described by Pramaor president Nicola Del Din, who sees the crisis as an opportunity for re-launching his company. A radical and profound change the success of which was decreed by a recent visit to Pramaor by Elena Donazzan, the Regional Councillor for Education, Training and Labour, who acknowledged that the Veneto-based company is an example of farsightedness and courage.
A key figure in the regional economic context and, together with Minister Sacconi, always in the front line with regard to the zone economic problems caused by the crisis, Councillor Donazzan showed considerable interest in the corporate strategies that have enabled Pramaor to become a unique company which, in just a few years, has gone from being a contractor to a main player by completely re-launching its business model and aiming at product excellence and customer service. The Councillor was particularly interested in the Neomadeinitaly™ development strategy, an innovative and totally Italian operating and production system that combines art, culture, techniques and technology, which it implements and enhances by seeking eco-friendly materials and elements that totally respect the environment and the individual.
The company’s ability to change based on the in-depth innovation of products, processes and distribution has made Pramaor a perfect example of dynamic entrepreneurialism with goals that also take into account product traditions and culture. A model that Councillor Donazzan certainly could not ignore and a worthy example that integrates perfectly with the three strategic areas headed by the Councillor: Education, Training and Labour, all of which have a marked influence on the economy, social relations, culture and, consequently, on the Region’s future.
Pramaor is, therefore, looking at the future with considerable confidence. As Nicola Del Din said: “The project is infused with huge commitment, enthusiasm and passion and this is giving results beyond expectations that open the door to a sound future of growth. The 2011 celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the company’s foundation will be an emotional experience in the light of these exciting prospects for the future. It will be like celebrating the start of the company’s second life.”
A life that, without doubt, has brought considerable satisfaction to date and is based on the inseparable binomial: the ability to be daring and extremely high product quality.
Over the years, the two house brand lines - Blackfin, a brand that has made the crafting of titanium synonymous with excellence, minimalism and elegance, and Bioeyes, the perfect synthesis of technology and design - have achieved international acclaim and were the official representatives of the best Italian production at the G8 Summit at L’Aquila in 2009.
