
Optical Master Club: “We are the future”
The third Optical Master Club convention recently drew to a very successful close. Entitled “We are the future”, it was held in Florence March 28 and 29.
The growing consensus among members and partner companies was the expression of the appreciation of this innovative proposal which is very different from any of those offered by the other traditional market players.
Optical Master Club is described as a “sales group” because it helps members to consolidate and grow their business.
Maximum respect for the independence and image of every member: work is always and exclusively carried out in the name of individual outlets thanks to personalized marketing and full support.
These objectives are achievable because of clear ideas, consistent actions and strategic alliances as well as the active collaboration of specially selected partner companies that stand by Optical Master Club’s philosophy in defense of independent opticians.
After being welcomed by President Lorenzo Barberini, there were numerous talks of considerable interest: differentiation strategies, new marketing and communication tools addressed to consumers, a management control service to guarantee outlet profitability, new agreements with major operators, own-brand portfolios, an overview of fiscal and administrative regulations, and much more.
The partnership with GFK - a well-known market research company - means that OMC members receive useful information about future trends in the optics market.
The opticians in attendance were also able to increase their knowledge of partner companies not only through their relations, but also at corners exhibiting products and by personally meeting top management.
Obviously, entertainment was also on the agenda. At the gala evening, main sponsor Essilor held a competition and 4 lucky people won a trip to Cyprus.
