Odd Molly enters eyewear world

 After it announced the debut of the line of men’s apparel next fall, the Swedish label Odd Molly will present its first eyewear collection, on sale in Italy starting March to coincide with Mido.

The eyewear line is called Sun-days, with the dual meaning of sunny days and “Sunday morning feeling”, the concept at the basis of all the brand collections. Created to complete the spring/summer 2010 line, the collection was produced in collaboration with Ego Eyewear.

To celebrate the famous aviator Amelia Earhart, whose story was told recently on the big screen, the company has dedicated a model called Earhart, joining other 29 vision and sun models in the collection. The eyewear is a classical aviator model with drop lenses, double metal bridge and terminal end pieces in tie&dye acetate.

The eyewear will be available at retail opticians’ stores distributing Ego Eyewear and in stores selling the Odd Molly brand.
