New partnership for Maranello - Active Sunglasses

The Veneta Marina powerboat team and Maranello – Active Sunglasses are pleased to announce that they have signed a sponsorship and collaboration agreement as a result of the innovative marketing action promoted by Maranello – Active Sunglasses and aimed at sports clubs throughout the world.

Veneta Marina immediately got the message and replied to Maranello – Active Sunglasses. It did not take long before Giampaolo Montavoci and Alessandro Bacci realized that they were speaking the same language and shared the same values: speed is certainly not lacking in their DNA…

Giampaolo Montavoci has been competing in Class 1 since 1998, taking part in no fewer than 92 competitions in this category, and this year he and his team will be entering two boats in the top world category. In one powerboat, Giampaolo Montavoci will be with HRH Prince Turki bin Saud bin Thamer bin Abdulaziz El Saud of Saudi Arabia and Crew Chief Domenico Cirilli; in the other, Marco Pennesi (Montavoci’s co-driver at the P1) will be Throttleman with driver Fabio Magnani. Giampaolo Maschietto will be the team manager.

Alessandro Bacci, who boasts ten years’ experience in the eyewear sector, found that the Maranello brand was the ideal basis for creating a collection that has unique positioning, design and quality. Distributed worldwide, the Maranello collection is an indisputable benchmark for sports enthusiasts.

The Veneta Marina Team will take part in the Class 1 Offshore World Championships with two boats and in Class P1 with one boat.

Maranello – Active Sunglasses will supply the entire team with eyewear and produce a series of eyewear with the Veneta Marina by Maranello label and a Giampaolo Montavoci “Signature Line”.
