New Collection by Pierre Cardin
For the next season, Pierre Cardin’s new collection of sunglasses and optical frames are distinguished by their classic design, refined materials and decisive personality. The new collection combines the timeless appeal of the men’s models with the elegant charm of the women’s models.
Among the men’s sunglasses, the models pose a rectangular and decisive shape (P.C. 6132/S). The temples are personalised with a metal plaque logo, discreetly visible on sober tones of black, brown and Havana. Other modern and sophisticated models are presented with a metal and acetate frame that is characterised by a double nosepiece giving the rectangular shape personality (P.C. 6755/S). The temples are emphasized by a metal profile for a dynamic appeal.
The women’s sunglasses fascinate with their sophisticated shapes, such as the models in acetate that are embellished with the stylized logo and the “Pierre Cardin” signature (P.C. 8322/S). Other models follow a fashion inspiration with an oversized shape decorated with wavy metal trims on the temples that frame the stylized logo (mod. P.C. 8331/s). Streaked olive, pearly bordeaux, speckled Havana and black are the refined colours of the new models.
The new optical frames are characterised by their classic and sophisticated personality with posh details and elegant colours.
Contemporary and lightweight, the men’s rectangular shaped frames are made of steel and acetate and the lenses are supported by Nylon (P.C. 6750). The chic design details include a small fork on the temples as well as the monogram. Other men’s models with a metal frame assert a decisive personality with its linear shape personalised by the logo plaque (P.C. 6748).
The women’s optical frames have a particularly timeless charm. They feature a rectangular shaped steel frame with acetate temples that are embellished with an engraved and enamel decoration (P.C. 8757). The colour range verges on soft shades of gold/red/crystal, brown/Havana/grey and palladium/black/white/grey. The oval acetate optical frames on the other hand are inspired by glamour with temples decorated with the monogram and signature logo of the collection (P.C. 8329).
