Marco Mengoni wins MTV Europe Music Award…

He’s only 21, but “Re Matto” conquered Madrid at the MTV Europe Awards, one of the most eagerly awaited music events of the year. Marco Mengoni has gone far and in less than a year he has won X Factor, come third at Sanremo music festival, and Sunday, November 7, he was crowned Best European Act, the first Italian to win in the category: an absolute record.

Despite his amazing success on the international scene, Marco remains faithful to his “alternative” but personal style and for 2011 he has again chosen Lozza, for which he is the testimonial, to complete his look with the coolest eyewear of the moment.

At the show presented by Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, Marco beat local idol Enrique Iglesias, after a sweeping defeat of competitors for the Best Italian Act award.

Shy but always a great performer on stage, “Re Matto” is the testimonial for two of Lozza’s cult models: Cooper, an Eighties icon and today’s real must-have, and Zilo, decidedly and irreplaceably Seventies for an inimitable vintage mood.
