Kentral Scarl joins Centrale Europea Garro

At the meeting of the Guilde des Lunetiers – France’s leading optics distribution organization – in Nantes March 21, Kentral Scarl officially joined Centrale Europea Garro.

Set up in 2006, the Garro organization united the Guilde des Lunetiers and Cione Sa, the leading distributor in Spain.

The aim of the three members of Garro is to establish an entity whose size and financial capacity are equivalent to the sector’s multinational industries, while providing a cross-reference of experiences and the exchange of information about logistics, IT and distribution know-how.

Kentral Scarl was established in 2007 by Salmoiraghi & Viganò Spa and Vision
Service Group Spa with the purpose of establishing a different approach to relationships between the sector’s large industries and optics distribution in Italy.

Garro’s alliance will open up an opportunity for Kentral partners, Salmoiraghi & Viganò Spa and Vision Service Group Spa, to make use of France’s experience in developing collaborations for the integration of different stores and distribution systems. All this will help develop an organizational model that has already been tried and tested by Kentral.

The 5600 outlets in the Garro network are located in all optics distribution segments and are the most important example of sector aggregation.
