Galleria Guglielmo Tabacchi receives the Festival delle Città Impresa award

At the third edition of the Festival delle Città Impresa promoted by the monthly Nordesteuropa.it and the Corriere della Sera newspaper, the Galleria Guglielmo Tabacchi was awarded by Chamber of Commerce President Roberto Furlan for the company’s excellent museum.

The award went to ten companies which have added value to their products and services by investing in cultural activities.

Located at Safilo Group headquarters, the Galleria Guglielmo Tabacchi exhibits a collection of eyeglasses and eyewear-related items that document their history and evolution from the 1300s to the present day. It was awarded “for its important cultural role of conveying how an object in everyday use is of essential historical-cultural value and recounts the history of our society and corporate culture”.

The ceremony took place Friday, April 23 at the Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta.

Titled “Culture makes us wealthy. For the Northeast European Capital of Culture”, the Festival highlights how culture contributes to the interior and exterior wealth of cities, companies and citizens and fosters thoughts about how the Northeast can grow through profitable relationships with culture, companies and the territory.
