As explained at the press conference, the new company will take advantage of gained experience and human skills and will rely on the wide and comprehensive range of BBGR products and solutions, whose quality standard is the highest on the market. These are the strong points that will enable Galileo to expand and optimize the range of services for optometrists and to provide strong marketing tools aimed at consumers.
The first effects of the merger between the two companies are already visible. Galileo’s new catalog has a much richer range of lenses and offers for optometrists, including progressive lenses. The trade can already count on the experience, style and quality of the products offered by the new Galileo, which also boasts an additional distinctive element: a prescription laboratory with one of the biggest productions on the market, the result of important investments in free form production technologies. It is equipped with the most modern machinery for local production with high levels of quality, personalized design and anti-reflection treatments with exceptional performance.
Special attention has been given to the new catalog, which has been designed as an invaluable, useful and pleasing tool with considerable attention to detail that Italian opticians can use for their day-to-day business. Graphics and colors are in line with the new coordinated image through the new Galileo logo, which conveys the innovation and technology distinguishing the quality of the company’s products. Apropos of this, also presented is a wide range of Digital Surfacing lenses, a line dedicated to high-performance anti-reflection treatments which confirm the continual and constant research into products, treatments and avant-garde technologies.
The restyling of the company’s new identity was carried out by the GWC World agency of Milan: it was developed in accordance with innovation criteria, but also with continuity based on the strong Italian tradition that is part of Galileo’s DNA. Italian-ness is in fact the component that has been emphasized in the unique graphics and creativity of the large G of Galileo that continues to dominate the company’s logo.
A brighter green compared to the previous color has been chosen to convey the innovation and technology that is a constant presence at its Research and Development laboratories. The choice of red, a warm color par excellence, was dictated by the idea of communicating the vitality and energy of a company in continual development. A company ready to confirm its future primacy in the Italian ophthalmic field.
