The 2010 Eyewear Collection for the Ermenegildo Zegna centenary is inspired by the beauty of the past without losing sight of the future. Retro shapes in antique and hi-tech materials are revisited in the harmonious, contemporary design of a refined and elegant collection for the NXT® generation. Discreet design, simple lines, clean shapes, lightweight frames, integrated hinges and precious materials: these are the key features of the Ermenegildo Zegna collection. The frames are a blend of innovation and craftsmanship thanks to the combination of ultra-light titanium, wood and engraved acetate.
The new latest-generation eyewear is in NXT®, a super-technological polymer that is ultra-light, indestructible, flexible and with excellent optical properties.
NXT® technology was introduced for the first time in the mid-Nineties for military use, after which it was developed for the optics sector and is now a reference material for prescription eyeglasses. To celebrate Ermenegildo Zegna’s hundredth anniversary, De Rigo has created the exclusive frame “NXT® Generation Eyewear”.
“NXT® Generation Eyewear” - Mod. VZ3190 and VZ3191
Both models have a front piece in NXT® in a simple, clean design with slim lines for an ultra-light effect. Movement is rendered by the metal bridge that extends above the lenses in the same color. A pleasing color effect is created by the metal temples with acetate end pieces. The models have slightly different shapes: model VZ 3191, shown in the advertising campaign, is square, whereas model VZ 3190 is more rounded. Available in brilliant and semi-gloss brown, gunmetal and refined blue.

A vintage model in acetate with an elegant, clean shape. A special thin metal line runs along the outside of the temples and ends at the front piece. This is one of the most current models in the new Ermenegildo Zegna collection; eyewear with high comfort and technology thanks to the integrated hinge, a refined detail of undeniable class.
Available in glossy honey Havana, transparent blue, transparent burgundy, black and olive.

This model features a front piece and terminals entirely in acetate and temples in smooth metal. Revamped retro lines characterize this eyewear in a sand horn color that emphasizes its extreme simplicity and identifies it as the icon of casual style. Available in black, dark Havana, gray horn, brown and sand.
Mod. VZ 3184 col. 627
A model in titanium and chiseled wood with acetate temples. The front piece delineates a decisive and elegant front piece. The new “integrated flex” hinge is invisible, a technological detail that gives the model a flowing, smooth effect. The wood insert engraved with the Ermenegildo Zegna logo is the exclusive symbol that identifies this eyewear. Available in black/gold, olive/brown, transparent/gray gold, olive/antique brown.
