Plastic as a new meeting point for different technologies.

With PECVD, plastic can be modified physically and chemically from a nanometric point of view, whereas precious metals can be deposited on plastic by laser.

This new combined technology therefore makes it possible to achieve ad hoc decorations for creative eyewear designs. With laser, plastic eyewear can be decorated according to personal preferences.

In short, this is the new project undertaken by Certottica, Da Vià, Sisma and Galvalux in the research laboratories.

By combining the two technologies, eyewear decorations can be innovated with the aim of reacquiring space on the market.
