Blinde presents new 2010 collection
At Mido 2010 Blinde launched the Fall-Winter 2010/11 collection of 13 news models. The leitmotif is the rediscovery of the brand’s DNA, which has developed toward the fashion and lifestyle universe while preserving its roots in traditional craftsmanship combined with technology.
Oriented toward a personalized retro-futurist design with acetates in bright colors, the collection is retro-inspired. This style, together with top-quality materials and artisan workmanship, has made Blinde a brand that is loved by a fashion system constantly seeking new trends and avant-garde design.
The new sunglasses collection has 7 oversize models for a ‘rock-inspired’ look with vintage embroidery for women and aviator or navigator shapes for men. All the models are handmade and use only the best Italian acetate or, for some models, a plastic and metal combination with subtle laser engraving on the bridge and temple end pieces. All the parts in acetate are drum polished for 72 hours to enhance the luminosity and brilliance of the plastic.
The 6 new vision eyeglasses come in a wide range of models that are ideal for all face shapes, with considerable attention to the design, functionality and color that make them aesthetically unique. Handmade Japanese-Italian acetates with a retro shape or vintage- style beveling, or models with perforated titanium front pieces and acetate temples for a sophisticated three-dimensional look: these are just some of the innovative styles that characterize the vision collection with the Blinde label.
All the sunglasses are fitted with CR39 lenses with three AR coatings, mineral glass lenses, or polarized lenses with five AR coatings. They are also water-repellent and scratch-resistant.
