AIMO, a new association of oculists

Set up in Rome in April, the new Associazione Italiana Medici Oculisti – AIMO unites specialists in optometry and ophthalmology irrespective of their sector of operation: universities, hospitals, health services, specialist surgeries and private practices.

The nonprofit association aims to protect the moral and professional image of oculists and to promote scientific and professional updating oriented toward caring for and safeguarding eyesight health.
