A hole-in-one for Bushnell at Ryder Cup
Bushnell, the US company and world leader for sports optics, quality eyewear and outdoor accessories, is the new official supplier of the 2010 Ryder Cup European team.
The Ryder Cup is one of the most prestigious golfing events and since 1927 it has been the setting for international competitions between the best American and European professional players.
The location of the 2010 Ryder Cup is the luxurious Celtic Manor Resort, which boasts some of the best golf courses and structures in Great Britain.
The optics group with the Bollé, Serengeti and Bushnell brands has decided to support the team with its innovative products: it will be providing golfers and their caddies with technologically-advanced eyewear and laser instruments for precise course analyses.
The various outdoor accessories supplied by the group include Bushnell’s famous laser rangefinder, the most popular with professional golfers.
The rangefinder incorporates PinSeeker technology which isolates the flag from the background to give a clearer and more precise calculation of distances and trajectories.
These products also have a Scan mode, which gives the distance to the green in real time, and a Slope mode, which includes the slope of the land when calculating distances (there is also a version without the Slope mode for use in competitions).
