Spain: TV campaign for Afflelou Optico

The first communication campaign by Alain Afflelou Optico went on air just a few days ago. The spots' protagonist is the promotion of Tchin Tchin, which is completely new to Spain: anyone buying frames and ophthalmic lenses will receive another pair of glasses for just 1 euro extra.

Made by Publicis Espagne, the 35-second spot will be transmitted by the main Spanish networks (TVE 1 and 2, Antena 3 and Tele 5) over the next three months. A second spot is programmed to appear when schools start up again; it will be dedicated to shatterproof polycarbonate 2Ai lenses.

Products with the Alain Afflelou label represented over 40% of the billings from Spanish stores in November and December. At constant perimeter, billings from stores in 2003 were 23.7 million euros, an increase of 10% compared to 2002.
