SolaOne wins Ola Award of Excellence

The Optical Laboratory Association (Ola), the international association founded in 1894 which groups together 341 companies in the United States, Canada and 14 other countries, presented the Award of Excellence in the 'best design' category for ophthalmic lenses to SolaOne. The award ceremony took place during the annual meeting in Nashville, Usa, on November 13.

Executive Vice Chairman and General Manager for North America, Barry Packham, commented: 'We would like to thank all our clients who have made SolaOne a success. We are honored to have received this coveted recognition from Ola'.

Bernadette Hiskey, Brand Director Sola, added 'Thanks to 10 years of research, with SolaOne we have successfully achieved two objectives: to offer wearers the best vision performance and to support opticians in selling a high-value product. We are delighted that our commitment has been rewarded'.

A year after its launch, SolaOne has been just as successful with Italian opticians. A very wide range of lenses is now available: in CR 39, in 1.6, in Polycarbonate, in Polycarbonate Transitions, in Transitions, and in the HD and Ego version in 1.67 and 1.67 Transitions.
