Silhouette Golf Collection

This year, Silhouette presents a sunglasses collection designed specifically for golfers. There are five models which feature lenses with Light Stabilizing Technology (Lst), a patent exclusive to Silhouette which allows high-tech glasses to be produced.

Lst lenses give optimum protection against the suns rays, enhance color contrasts and reduce to a minimum the eye discomfort caused by repeated and continuous changes in light conditions, in other words, they guarantee good visibility even when looking quickly from sunny to shady areas.

The ability to increase contrast makes Silhouette's new glasses ideal for golfing: the Lst lenses' ability to differentiate colors even at a distance, makes it easier to see the ball on the green. The result is less stress on the eyes and pure concentration on the game. It is not by chance that these glasses are worn by Hilary Lunke, winner of the US Women's Open 2003.

The models with the golf lenses are part of the Titan Minimal Art and Titan Metallic collections, both made in ß-rich titanium with rimless frames. In the Tma collection specifically, models 8067, 8562 and 8583 offer a choice of oval, squared or wide wraparound lenses; the Titan Metallic models 8581 and 8586 feature folding temples.
