Sight tests on Jura roads

The 'Au volant, la vue c'est la vie' (vision is vital behind the wheel) campaign will be taking place from February 21 through 29 on the A39 turnpike in the Jura area of France. It is promoted by Asnav (Association Nationale pour l'Amélioration de la Vue), Lunetiers du Jura, Société des Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône, Association Médicale du Travail, and by La Prévention Routière association.

The campaign is oriented towards making drivers aware of the importance of excellent vision for traveling in safety. Students from the Lycée Professionnel d'Optique Victor Bérard of Morez will be proposing the free test to measure, amongst other things, binocular vision acuity and field of vision. Drivers can also test their tolerance of glare, color vision and contrast sensitivity.
