Safilo runs with Carrera Race

To celebrate its 4th birthday in the Moto GP, Safilo, main sponsor of Lucio Cecchinello team, decided to change its clothe and to present itself in the circuits wearing the new brand that made the history of the sport in several disciplines: Carrera.

This brand, that belongs to Safilo Group since 1996, means 'run' and in this case its useful to say 'a name a lot': sport, energy, adrenalin are the concepts on which Carrera based its strength to develop the technology of the products and, of course, the performances of its athletes. Put together this brand and the Motorcycling world has been logic.

For the 3rd year Safilo Group decided to sponsor the team managed by Lucio Cecchinello because of his professionality and his experience. Last year Lucio decided to leave the races and concentrate only on his team and drivers that will run during next season: Randy De Puniet in the 250 cc., Mattia Pasini and Roberto Locatelli in the 125 cc.
