
Ray-Ban wins award at New York Festivals 2004
Ray-Ban, together with the McCann-Erickson agency, was awarded the prestigious 'Bronze World Medal' in the 'Personal Gift and Leisure' category at the 2004 edition of New York Festivals. For almost 50 years it has rewarded creative excellence in the international advertising field by selecting work that has struck the hearts and minds of consumers throughout the world.
The 'Tv, Cinema and Radio Advertising' award was presented during the Gala held on January 29, 2004, at the Hudson Theater in New York.
Giovanni Spinelli, Head of Marketing of the Luxottica Group, owner of the Ray-Ban brand, declared: 'We are proud to receive this prestigious award which joins a long award-winning tradition by the Ray-Ban brand'.
