The Shanghai International Optics Fair 2004, which took place from February 18 through 20 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Centre, was favorably met at both local and international level.

Organized by the China Optometric & Optical Association (Cooa) and the China Lighting Ind. Present at the fair were exhibitors from 17 countries and regions (including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, Korea, United Kingdom and United States) and visitors from 61 countries.

Paying its first visit was a delegation from Anfao/Mido, which was coordinated by Cfh Associates, the fair's official representatives in Italy. Delegation members were Cirillo Coffen Marcolin (President of Anfao and Mido), Astrid Galimberti (Anfao General Secretary), Francesco Gili (Anfao), Elena Berton (Arlecchino) and Rudy Costan (Ioves).

The fall edition of the China (Beijing) International Optics Fair will take place from September 22 through 24 at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing.
