Ocular Sciences extends Biomedics Toric range

Ocular Sciences extends it range of monthly Biomedics Toric lenses to give an even greater number of astigmatics the chance to take advantage of the lenses' performance.

From December 1st the toric lenses' spherical strengths will be extended to +6.00D and to -9.00D for all existing cylinders (-0.75, -1.25, -1.75, -2.25). The range was extended last September with the -2.25 quarter cylinder.

Horizontal isothickness, a wide stabilization prism and the perfectly smooth front surface of the Biomedics Toric lens ensure the wearer has sharp vision and exceptional comfort all day long.

The lenses are now available with the following parameters:
- Base Curve: 8.70 mm;
- Diameter: 14.50 mm;
- Spherical strengths: from +4.00D to -6.00D (intervals of 0.25D), from +4.50D to +6.00, from -6.50D to -9.00D (intervals of 0.50D);
- Cylinder: -0.75, -1.25, -1.75, -2.25;
- Axis: 0° to 180° (10° interval).
