Nxt quadruplicates the 2003 turnover

Nxt, the new transparent optical polymer providing excellent performances that was originally conceived for military use and is being now applied to the production of sunslenses and visors for motorbike crash helmets, quadruplicated the 2003 turnover, in the second semester in particular.

The increased demand has led to a 250% sales increase in the last part of the year if compared to the beginning of 2003.

This amazing feedback from the market, far greater than expected, has led Intercast, owner of the patent rights for sunlenses made with Nxt, to accelerate its investment plans in order to increase its production capabilities. The first important phase of this project includes the setting-up of a new factory covering a 7000 sq. meters wide area.

This success has also been made possible by the launch of new products made with Nxt, as the polarized and photochromatic lenses that have obtained a great success in the market thus attesting the versatility and endless potentialities of the Nxt technology. For these same reasons Nxt has already been chosen by very important brands such as GF Ferré, Celine, Exté, Givenchy, Fendi, Police, Romeo Gigli, Zerorh+, Max Mara, Randolph Engeneering and many others.
