Nico Design nominated for the Silmo d'or 2004

The new Racing model from the Derapage collection by Nico Design has been nominated for the Silmo d'Or 2004.

Giovanni Vitaloni, General Manager of Nico, commented, 'For the second consecutive year, one of our projects has been selected by the jury of the Paris exhibition to compete for the prestigious Silmo d'Or award. In 2003 it was in the category of frames - style and design, and this year it is in the category of frames - technological innovation. For our company and for our Vanni and Derapage collections, this marks an important acknowledgement that inspires us to work with ever greater enthusiasm'.

The Racing model will be launched and distributed on the Italian and international market in January 2005. The project envisages the use of Icelite, a new lightweight and flexible plastic that has been combined with a metal framework structure.
