New colors for Yodai goggles
Compact, colorful and with excellent technical performance, Yodai are the goggles created by adidas eyewear for winter sports.
A compact design which makes the size of the goggles intentionally 'unexaggerated', an elastic band with a clip fastening at the back, also available with anti-slip silicone inserts, an ergonomic shape that makes them comfortable to wear with any type of helmet; these are just a few of the technical characteristics of this winter's Yodai goggles in three completely new colors: frames in a decidedly bright orange, metallic brown with an elastic band in orange or straightforward dark blue.
Yodai goggles also feature a series of exclusive patents.
Vision Advantage PC: spherical dual lens in polycarbonate, with optical quality level 1, which offers 100% protection from UV rays and strong impact resistance. Shatterproof, lightweight, and with a scratch-resistant coating. Curved from side to side as well as from top to bottom, its field of vision is extremely wide: 220° to the side and 100° vertically.
Decentered lens: the decentering technology lets adidas sports eyewear use lenses with a curve base that's very high; lenses are therefore high on protection, but give perfect distortion-free vision, a factor that's extremely important for an athlete's performance.
Ventilation system: incorporated in the frame design, it acts strategically on the air so that only the amount of air needed to prevent the lens from fogging up enters the goggles, but not to the extent that would annoy the eyes and obstruct perfect vision. This system of ventilation has now been improved by slightly raising the slots through which the air filters, a small adjustment that has further improved the technical performance of the goggles.
Clip-in Performance: an ophthalmic addition for graduated lenses which are easily inserted and removed from the Yodai goggles.
The lens is available in an infinite range of colors, but the most notable is orange which increases visibility in fog while guaranteeing 70% light absorption.
With these new additions, Yodai goggles are now available in eight different color variations.
