New Borbonese licenses
After the re-launch has been proved positive by the trend in billings (from 16 million euros in 2002 to 18.6 in 2003, and 23.4 in 2004), the Borbonese brand is preparing to expand into foreign markets with the inauguration of its new flagships in Europe, North America and the Far East.
New licenses are also under consideration: 'We intend to extend the home lines to furnishing fabrics, table linen and carpets', CEO Claude Arpels told fashionmagazine.it. 'At a later date, we will launch the perfume and eyewear. But we want to take our time and find a strong and truly international partner'.
Borbonese recently opened mono-brand stores in Cortina and Bologna and a shop-in-shop in Rome. The brand will also be the protagonist of a book published by Mondadori and due to appear February.
