Italian subsidiary for Maui Jim

In a few weeks, the Italian subsidiary of Maui Jim will be opening in San Giovanni Lupatoto (Verona). The Hawaiian company gets its name from its mascot, the blue, gold, green and red macaw called Jimmy.

At its Peoria (near Chicago) offices a few months back, Maui Jim inaugurated a modern, ultra-sophisticated laboratory for making top-quality, blended ophthalmic-sun lenses. The lenses use the new PolarizedPlus2 technology in base 6 and base 8.

Antireflection and water-repelling treatment, a polarizing filter, the incorporation of three rare earths, and the applied logo guarantee that the quality of these two-shaded lenses is of the highest technological level.
