The seventeenth edition of Ciof, China International Optics Fair, was held at the China International Exhibition Centre from September 22 through 24 in an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, a considerable increase on last year's 24,000.
714 exhibitors from 19 countries (Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Taiwan, Usa) displayed their products to more than 45,000 visitors from 66 countries and regions. And this year's 36% upturn in the number of exhibitors from abroad shows that the fair is becoming increasingly international.
To protect exhibitors' Intellectual Property Rights (Ipr), this year the organizers set up the first special office, where lawyers were available during the entire exhibition.
Amongst the key personalities invited to take part in Ciof was the Mido/Anfao delegation, headed by president Cirillo Marcolin.
