Gucci: McQueen will perhaps take Ford's place

According to the Sunday Times, the British stylist, Alexander McQueen, is the favorite for replacing America's Tom Ford behind the Gucci wheel; but McQueen is also being targeted by French couturier, Yves Saint Laurent, also controlled by Gucci.

The Sunday newspaper also said that at least twice in the past month, directors of the company have flown to London by private jet to try to persuade the 34-year-old stylist to leave home.
