Gem Lunetterie applies to take over Airess
Applications were presented yesterday for taking over the French company, Airess, following the January 23 decision by the Bourg-en-Bresse court to wind it up.
The two applicants are a Swiss investment company and France's Gem Lunetteries; the latter would be particularly interested in developing the Dunhill and Morgan brands alongside its own (Astérix, Koxx, Baroque). But L'Amy, indicated as one of the potential buyers, did not file any proposals.
The judge's final decision will be announced by February 15 at the latest.
