Fisichella new Zerorh+ testimonial

Fisichella new Zerorh+ testimonial

The Zerorh+ eyewear line produced by Allison enters the world of Formula 1: after sailing, cycling, and soccer, the new face for its advertising campaign starting March 2004 will be Giancarlo Fisichella.

Currently first driver of the Swiss Sauber-Ferrari team, the Italian joins the Zerorh+ personalities who represent its luxury sportswear image: Russell Coutts, skipper of Alinghi (winner of the America's Cup 2003), Mario Cipollini, former world cycling champion, and Rome soccer team coach, Fabio Capello.

Each testimonial personally chose the model of glasses that best suited their particular sport and Giancarlo Fisichella opted for two ultra-new models, Talos and Xaus, which meet the requirements of a Formula 1 driver.

Xaus and Talos are in fact wraparound sports glasses weighing only 20 grams. They're made in a special alloy, aluminum, which combines lightness with the guarantee of maximum shock resistance. In other words, they're practically an aluminum chassis that is lightweight, strong and worthy of a Formula 1 car.

The driver chose the high-performance, scratch-resistant and anti-reflection gold mirror-lenses in gray called See Fast, a genuine eyewear engine. Thanks to surface metal treatments, not only do they give total protection from the sun's rays, they also increase vision efficiency and definition levels in poor light conditions, making them ideal for high-speed sports. The anatomic and adjustable nosepiece and side-piece ends are in non-slip Sportgrip, which guarantees excellent grip in any situation.

Xaus and Talos will also be available with Grilamid Titanium side-pieces. Both models can take sight-sun lenses, produced exclusively for ZeroIndustry by the Sola Optical laboratories, high-tech sight lenses which guarantee the correction of sight defects and, when combined in special colors to give total UV protection, high levels of vision comfort in extremely bright light.

The eyewear will be on sale from end January.
