First D&G monobrand in Great Britain
Opening February 28 on London's New Bond Street is the first D&G monobrand store in Great Britain, raising the number of the fashion house's boutiques throughout the world to 30, 21 of which are direct and 9 under franchise.
The store is on three levels interconnected by a spectacular staircase and an elevator. Signed by Rodolfo Dordoni, the area maintains the concept of a neutral and clean 'container', but it also features some new ideas: from the large colored logos situated here and there that add dynamism to the ambience, to the reflective glass and sheet iron that stand out against the other elements of décor. The ceilings are painted gray, as are the resin floors.
The entire D&G universe is on sale: as well as the clothing and accessories collections for men and women, there are the D&G Underwear, D&G Beachwear and D&G Junior lines. Situated in the entrance, lit displays house D&G Time watches and D&G Sunglasses (produced by Marcolin).
