Eyewear District at Silmo

On Thursday, October 14, at the Council Chamber of Villa Doglioni Dalmas in Belluno, the Sezione Industrie Produttrici di Articoli per l'Occhialeria (Sipao) of Assindustria Belluno will present the group of Eyewear District companies which will be taking part in Silmo 2004.

Speaking at the press conference will be Giorgio Ciotti, Chairman of Sipao, Stefano Perale, Vice-Director of Assindustria Belluno and Maurizio Feltrin, Head of Export, Assindustria Belluno.

17 small- and medium-sized optics manufacturers were brought together and organized by Sipao to form the group that will go to Paris and at the same time further promote the Eyewear District's image. Thanks to the Veneto Region's efforts with regard to the Law on Districts, the companies have acquired an exhibition area of 300 square meters. This will be in addition to the now traditional 50-square-meter area at Info Point, the Eyewear District's promotional and exhibition meeting point.

Thanks also to the contribution by the Cipa Consortium, clients from abroad who visit the stands in Paris will receive from the District's group of companies an impressive book about the Dolomites, the home of eyewear.
