Diamonds and eyewear in the same shops in Israele

David Elishayov, owner of the LID diamond corporation, has purchased Israeli optics chain Halperin Optics for $ 14 million. Halperin Optics will begin selling LID diamonds and gold jewelry through its retail outlets, reported Israel's daily Ha'aretz.

Elishayov also plans to expand the chain's activity in fashionable brand name sunglasses. Twelve new branches are planned for the chain, which already has 71 outlets, 400 employees and a turnover of about $ 30 million.
