French company MOREL continues collaboration with Jean Nouvel
For the past five years, the Jura-based eyewear company MOREL and world-famous architect, Jean Nouvel have been collaborating to produce a unique eyewear collection which has evolved each season.
For the new season, the collaboration between the architect and the eyewear designers continues to flourish and expands with a collection which offers avant-garde design, elegant shapes and notable colours with particular refinements.
Imagined and designed with the vision of the architect and the art of minimalism, the new frames are characterised by the classic, structured aesthetic of ‘MOREL par Jean Nouvel’. The round, pure and so-called monolithic designs capture the fundamental essence of the collaboration whilst always pushing boundaries in terms of stylistic details and the structures of the designs.
In line with Jean Nouvel’s particular love of the round shape for glasses, the circular shape has returned again, reinterpreted in a radical design with minimalistic lines, where the round, panto frames take on an assertive character.
The collection is produced in fine materials which catch the light and give depth to the frame styles, in a tasteful and subdued colour palette.
