Obe: 100 years in motion

This year sees Obe celebrating its 100th year in business. The family company started manufacturing tools in 1904. Soon after this, turned and precision parts were produced for a wide variety of sectors from the photographic industry, to the textile and even the automobile industry.

Obe started specialising in the optical component industry during the Seventies based on their successful experience backed up with a wide-ranging technical know-how. The joint technology developed in Ispringen contributed rapidly towards making Obe an important address for frame manufacturers world-wide.

Obe will celebrate at Mido (Hall 19, booth E10) with 'cocktail & music' on Saturday 8th May, 6.30 p.m.
