La cerniera di Derapage MoleCube è composta da 3 elementi di lamina tenuti insieme da un perno quadrato che scompare interamente nella struttura dell'asta, raccordandola al frontale con un sistema "a scatto" mai realizzato fino ad ora. Derapage MoleCube è: -l'utilizzo di un numero limitato di componenti che riduce i passaggi produttivi rendendo ecocompatibile la fabbricazione della montatura; -una sola, unica vite a sezione quadrata, un minuscolo cubo/dado -immerso a filo nella struttura dell'asta; - che regge l'intera costruzione dell'occhiale senza necessità alcuna di regolazioni né di rischio di svitamento; -l'utilizzo di lame sottili di acciaio fototranciato o tagliate al laser per il tradizionale stile streamline di Derapage; -un sistema flex dell'asta che la rende ultra confortevole senza l'utilizzo di molle, abbinato ad un effetto stop-hinge (ferma/scatto) in apertura e in chiusura dell'asta; - un'estetica di estrema linearità e sobrietà, dal design concettualmente perfezionato.
