Ispirata alla "Giudecca", la nuova linea ne evoca i tratti caratteristici Restando fedele alla sua vocazione isolana, in questa collezione il designer siciliano Piero Massaro si è fatto contagiare dai tanti aspetti della Giudecca, un'isola da sempre considerata parte integrante di Venezia.   Ispirato soprattutto dal noto Molino Stucky, assurto a simbolo dell'isola, e dalla cantieristica minore gestita da pregiati artigiani, il designer ha creato una collezione, chiamata per l'appunto "Giudecca", che ne evoca i tratti principali: il colore predominante degli acetati utilizzati è l'arancione che riconduce all'imponente edificio giudecchino; il lavoro di sfaccettatura sulle aste di alcuni occhiali, invece, suggerisce le curve e gli spigoli tipici delle "forcole", la scalmiera utilizzata nelle imbarcazioni veneziane.   L'effetto è un'alternanza di luminosità e oscurità che varia secondo l'inclinazione, in un gioco di luce e ombra che ne esalta lucentezza e opacità, come l'aura di chiaro-scuro che avvolge l'intera isola.   Anche in questa collezione tutti i modelli hanno l'asta a baionetta, brevetto internazionale presentato lo scorso anno.   Infine, nei modelli da sole il designer conferma la scelta delle lenti in vetro ottico Barberini. The new line is inspired by the characteristics of the "Giudecca" Remaining true to his island heritage, for this collection Sicilian designer Piero Massaro was influenced by many aspects of Giudecca, an island that has always been considered an integral part of Venice.   Inspired primarily by the famous Molino Stucky building, now a symbol of the island, and the small shipyards that are managed by prestigious artisans, the designer created the "Giudecca" collection that conjures up its main characteristics: the predominant color of the acetates is the same orange as the imposing building on Giudecca; the temple faceting of some models is reminiscent of the curves and corners typical of the forcolas (oarlocks) on Venetian boats.   The effect is an alternation of light and dark areas that change depending on the direction; a play of light and shade that enhances brilliance and opacity, like the aura of chiaroscuro that envelops the entire island.   All the models in this collection also have bayonet temples, an international patent that was presented last year.   Lastly, for the sun models the designer has again chosen lenses in optical glass by Barberini.
