Will it be Thélios that takes over the Safilo plant? The negotiations continue

Thélios and Safilo have confirmed, in two official statements from their respective press offices, that there are negotiations in progress, and now at an advanced stage, for the transfer of Safilo’s Longarone plant.

This transfer would mean retention not only of the site’s excellences but also a significant number of employees involved in these.

Thélios has in fact underlined that the deal emerged specifically with the “goal of preserving and developing the exceptional know-how to be found in the region”, one of the essential elements that have characterised them from the outset.

Safilo then specified that “this important agreement is part of wider ongoing talks, through which the company intends to limit social impact to a minimum. Any further action will be carried out with full involvement of social parties and institutions.
